Located in the heart of South Delhi’s Sarojini Nagar residential precinct, the Girdhari Lal Project represents JDM Design’s commitment to innovative residential architecture and practical luxury.

The client’s vision was to redevelop an existing property into a modern, multi-level home that would serve as both a comfortable residence and a statement of design refinement.

The brief emphasized space optimization, natural light, and material richness, all within the compact urban fabric of one of Delhi’s most historic neighborhoods.

JDM Design was responsible for end-to-end project delivery — from architectural design and space planning to interior detailing and on-site supervision — ensuring every stage aligned with the client’s aesthetic and functional goals.

Design Concept

The design philosophy behind the Girdhari Lal residence was rooted in “Urban Modernism with a Human Touch.”
We sought to blend the efficiency of contemporary architecture with the emotional warmth of a family home.

The façade features a clean, geometric language using textured concrete, metal trims, and glass elements to create a bold, modern identity.
Inside, the design transitions into soft, warm interiors, featuring earthy materials, neutral colors, and abundant daylight.

Every corner of the house was designed to feel open, connected, and serene, despite being set in a dense urban environment.

Outcome

The Girdhari Lal Residence at Sarojini Nagar stands as a model of modern urban living within traditional neighborhoods.
