MR. A. K. GOVIL (Indirapuram UP)
Design in Details
Project Overview
Located in the rapidly developing urban hub of Indirapuram, this residence for Mr. A.K. Govil reflects modern Indian living with timeless design sensibilities.
JDM Design was entrusted with creating a bespoke residential environment that balances functionality, aesthetics, and comfort — transforming a standard urban plot into a personalized, elegant home.
Our design vision was to craft an interior that feels warm and contemporary, using refined materials, neutral tones, and natural light to enhance the spatial experience of daily living.
Design Concept
The design philosophy behind the residence centered on “Modern Comfort Rooted in Simplicity.”
We focused on clean geometry, natural textures, and subtle luxury to create a space that feels inviting, airy, and timeless.
The interiors are a thoughtful blend of modern functionality and classical balance, with each zone designed for both aesthetics and utility.
The concept aimed to provide the client with a peaceful home retreat amidst the busy surroundings of Indirapuram.
Lighting & Mood Design
Lighting played a crucial role in enhancing the residence’s warmth and ambience.
Layered lighting — combining ambient, task, and accent lights — was used strategically in each zone.
The living room features ceiling coves with dimmable LED strips.
Bedrooms have bedside wall sconces and hidden light panels for a calm mood.
The kitchen and bathrooms incorporate high-lux task lighting for clarity.
Outdoor lighting highlights landscape textures and creates a cozy evening aura.
The result is a home that transforms beautifully from day to night.
